Last week was perhaps one of the most successful in the club's history. All 3 teams started their BUCS campaign in victorious fashion on Wednesday, with a cumulative score of 22-1. The 1st XI then followed this up with a 6-1 thrashing of previous league leaders Didsbury to reclaim some momentum in their Saturday League.

Socials continue to gather pace
Pray for CletusThe second Wednesday social of the new term saw some new faces, as well as all of the regulars. Chris 'Love The Sesh' Penney continued to secure his grip on the title of 'Beryl', whilst Wrong continued to live up to his nickname. Bellend's inventive new 'Big Brother' game caught some unsuspecting Elders off guard, whilst Dynamo was a bit tipsy after his MOTM wine. Renditions of classic tunes 'One Step Beyond', 'Kernkroft 400' and 'Come on Eileen' were sung, as well as a new addition to the repertoire, the Harry Potter theme tune. Thanks to Flo and Leggings for being on sober duty.
Socials were then taken to another level on Saturday. The venue was Wrong's humble abode, and it is unlikely another social will be held there again, after his flatmates' boasts of being a 'big drinker' proved to be a 'false call'. A few more freshers had the honour of a nickname bestowed upon them, with Ben Mackerel very keen to tell staff members of the hospital about it. Thanks to Maisie for being on sober duty, fortunately he was able to escort everyone out of Sugar safely. |
