1st and 2nd XI carry on from where they left off; 3rd XI still have destiny in their own hands
BUCS Wednesdays returned with a vengeance, as all three teams were in action, a very rare occurrence indeed. The 1st and 2nd XI travelled together to Keele, managing to bring back maximum points and 10 goals between them. The 1st XI in particular put in a very strong performance, before vociferously supporting the 2nd XI from the sidelines, as they managed to overcome a poor first half effort to emerge 3-0 victors from their game. Meanwhile, the 3rd XI travelled to Manchester to face their nearest promotion rivals. Whilst the resulting 3-3 scoreline was disappointing, it still means that the Pride are on top of their division, with three games to play. All of the match reports are available below:
